I hope this blog post encourages readers to take time out of their busy lives to appreciate nature's beauty through colorful blooms. A reminder that life is worth celebrating, even amongst the chaotic schedules we have today. I was recently reminded of the flowering fields while looking for the perfect home for a friend and client. In Carlsbad, Ca, I found a home with a stunning view of the ocean near biking trails with arguably some of the best year-round weather, and it made me reminisce about the time I lived nearby. While it didn't fit my friend's idea of the perfect home, it did bring a smile to my face as we continued our search. What had me reminiscing was the attraction - The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch. Every Spring, this attraction blooms with bright and vibrant colors that stretch as far as the eye can see. Born in Palm Springs and raised in Joshua Tree while spending a lot of time in Lake Havasu and Temecula, I relocated, after graduating from community college, to a few So Cal beaches, Massachusetts (attending more college in New Hampshire), and a beautiful Nor Cal town Healdsburg before returning to my hometown and real estate roots in Joshua Tree.  I’ve been back here to stay in the Morongo Basin desert for the last 14+ years!
